Well..so we made it safely into india. No issues with flights and non with immigration.
We got our visa online which India has now so it was easy with everything needed to fill out the form online we got our visa in 24hours.
Now we made it to our apartment which is lovely very artsy kind of apartment. Which we got from airbnb through a company called Gagal hospitality and their apartment comes with a chef and caretaker who is around 24hours 7days a week…yeap..you read that right.
So kids and I decided to venture out a few days after our arrival and got on a tuktuk with my 14yr old Aasha and the adventures of that day was surely one to remember.
So the tuktuk here which they call it auto is very cheap…its like 30cents(usd) to travel about 3 kilometers. It can seat 3 persons…now it’s not the safest way of travelling since they have no rules on the roads.
But Aasha and I decided to try it all our and we went to a street market called indrashpata shopping center…now this place is in Borivali east and we live in west side.
This place you can buy all the Indian cloths and materials you want at a very cheap price and its not a tourist section of the city. Its where the locals shop in chaoes.
We started our journey on the tuktuk and when we arrived we decided to walk the streets and just try all their yummy and healthy street foods. I must say it was a shock to our palettes for sure.
Aasha almost threw up right in front of the place we buying from…lol…funny but scary as I had to master up my universal action of the power of thoughts…
All i can say is come prepared to be shocked and to be probably at your healthiest state of your life as most of their foods here is vegan or vegetarian. Even the street foods. No meats.
Here are a few pictures of Aasha and I street food experience.
Our Apartments was exactly how they listed on the company’s website. Best fit for our family.
Hope you enjoyed our adventures with us.
