Meeting Homeschool Families all around the globe

Standard

That is the new trend when you homeschool your kids. You meet so many other kids across the globe. So you see where am coming from…there nothing like the questions most people ask when they first find out we homeschool our kids…the famous question is “what about socializing” well of anything homeschool have a whole lots of time on their hands to meet and make at least 10 friends a day and with technology stay in touch for the rest of their lives….ok so let’s get to the fun part of me sharing out day out…

On an ordinary sunday no homework needed or no preparing for going to school the next day.  We met with the Argentina homeschool group here. And such amazing families. Our kids clicked right away even with the language barrier.

We spent the day at the famous recolleta cemetery which is where they bury dignitaries and important personalities. It was creepy and weird…but very interesting place to visit.

Here are a few pictures

You should see how many kids are in there…Super packed and kids touching every single thing in there.

Travel and Homeschool all in ONE

Standard

One the fun ways of our travelling is being able to not only teach our kids different cultures and way of life but also homeschooling them while travelling around the world.

We are still using our curriculum Abeka Academy and all is going very well.

Here is a picture of our family at the dinning table finishing up their school work before we start other activities for the day.

Our kids are up by 6am. They do their calisternics which includes pushups, squats, situps and dips.

After that they have their breakfast at 7am

And then start homeschooling at 7:30am and by 10:30am homeschool is done and time for Chess lesson and all other fun and outdoor activities.

So by 10:30am we are ready to explore each country to the fullest.
