Wow!!! That’s all I can say….But Thai people know how to make a weekend market (which is only Friday,  Saturday and sunday) look like our regular all week market in Ghana ( Makorla).

And Thai people loove to shop…LOL!!!

Today at the weekend Market…got to spend the whole day with all the kids but was able to slip away with my oldest for a girly moment while the others play at the park. Super safe for the kids.

Today we spent the whole day in Mo  Chit which is where they have one of bangkok’s largest weekend market.

The place was super packed with people all over.

Coolest popsicle maker and chiller…

All the choices we have to choose from..

And she got 2…so hot and that’s exactly what she needed to cool off…

Well while today my son and hubby had all boys day out, we the girls also decided to get out and enjoy the warm weather in Bangkok.

They made our day…

The park was really awesome…its the closest we have gotten to this wild creatures…They told us to stay in our cars and lock the doors and all windows up. Our taxi we took there drove us through the park which is filled with wild animals and they come close to our car. The whole day our Taxi guy was kind of like a tour guide…and we paid total going and coming back home…the whole trip and park stuff was about 7 hours and taxi driver with us the whole day cost us $50…Super duper cheap. Lovely place for the kids and parents too.

Great place to Visit…took us about 40min to get there. We took a taxi so we did not use the travel agenct…Save about $130 for going by ourselves. So when you are in Bangkok just roll on your own…its fun and you are on your own time.

It’s Monday and it’s our datenight….here are some pictures of what we did while roaming the street of bangkok.

That’s how our dinner arrived….sushi, grilled salmon and shrimp tempura…

Could you believe they had red bean paste as a topping for this green tea icecream..am from Ghana we eat beans with plantain and gari not on my ice cream….lol!!!

Had to snap one with this huge cup cake with icing at terminal 21…

Over all we had an amazing date night with a laugh at the movies.. went to watch The Spy…it was hilarious.

So for our large family sometimes using the Tour agency is not to our benefit. So I did a little research to see how our family can go to the Grand Palace Temple and the reclining Buddha for the Fraction of price this tour agents are trying to charge us.

Well the tour agency will pick us up from our apartment and our total trip to Grand Palace and the reclining Buddha will be $400 for all 6 of us.

Now let me tell you what it cost us…..We took a meter taxi, got there and hired a tour guide by the gate, did the grand palace, did a 1 hour canal boat ride ( which is not part of the tour company program), did the reclining Buddha and took a taxi back to MBK mall…and all cost us $165…now tell me that’s not an awesome savings there…and all it took was a little internet research.

It was all worth it and now I think most of our tours will be self done…

So this was at the reclining Buddha…the coin wish…you donate THB 20 and you take a bowl full of coins and you make a wish by dropping them into this pots…pretty awesome

so we saw this signs at the Temple pretty funny and our tour guide also told us about it …you will think people will have a little more respect for the building and what it stands for…

So my kids think we should adopt a Thai baby…LOL!!! After all them babies we have they still think I should have one more boy and if I don’t was to then We should adopt a Thai baby.
